THE 92nd Academy Awards, otherwise known as the Oscars is on TONIGHT (February 9, 2020)
As always, an invitation to the show in Hollywood is hard to come by, but here’s how you can watch it in the UK from the comfort of your home.
|Event||Academy Awards 2020
|Date||9 February 2020|
To celebrate the 92nd awards, they’ve created a whole channel for the occasion, Sky Cinema Oscars.
Sky Cinema Oscars will be streaming the Oscars, including all the action from the red carpet, at 10pm (GMT) TONIGHT, before the award ceremony itself begins at 1am – if you fancy staying up all night.
Sky Cinema Oscars will also show an array of Academy Award-winning titles from years past, including The Favourite, Bohemian Rhapsody, A Star is Born and The Shape of Water, with all titles also available on demand, since January 27, until the February 14.
The whole ceremony will be repeated on Sky Cinema Oscars from 8am on Monday February 25, with a two-hour highlights show also available on demand from 8pm on Monday February 25.
But how do you watch it?
If you don’t have Sky already, you can sign up. It’ll currently cost you £11, on top of £22 Entertainment pass.
It may seem pricey, but will also include the chance to watch blockbusters Alladin, Rocketman, and will give you access to the UK’s best digiatl channels including MTV.
The dedicated channel will be number 304 on your Sky box.
